Seton Hall Ice Hockey
Seton Hall University also provides a strong environment to further develop as a hockey player. SHU Hockey is a Division-II team in the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) that plays between 20-25 games per season. The team competes in the Colonial States College Hockey Conference (CSCHC) along with Millersville University, NJIT, University of Pennsylvania, West Chester University, Rutgers University, University of Scranton, Stockton University, Penn State Berks, and Bryn Athyn College. The Pirates have players with experience at various levels of competitive play ranging from prep schools and junior programs to top-tier midget major programs. SHU Hockey conducts all on-ice practices, off-ice team conditioning and home games at Richard J. Codey Arena at South Mountain in West Orange, New Jersey, located four miles from campus. Despite a long season that spans the better part of five months, our players are students first, and attention to academics is a major part of our program’s foundation.
