Joe Carbone - Head Coach

Joe will be entering his fourth season as Head Coach, and fifth on the coaching staff, of Seton Hall Club Hockey. Joe is from Old Bridge, NJ. He grew up playing travel hockey for the Old Bridge Jr. Knights and Red Bank Generals, as well as high school hockey for Christian Brothers Academy. A Seton Hall alum, Joe was a goaltender on the team from 2017 to 2020. Immediately upon graduation, Joe joined the coaching staff and has helped lead the Pirates to four consecutive playoff appearances. He currently holds a head coaching record of 28-23-1.

Cam Toussaint - Assistant Coach

A Coventry, RI native and fellow Seton Hall grad, Cam will be entering his second season as Assistant Coach. Cam played hockey for Seton Hall from 2019-2023, during which he amassed 82 points as a defenseman. He finished second all-time in goals in Seton Hall Hockey history, as well as third all-time in assists. Despite his offensive prowess, Cam also brings his defensive expertise to the coaching staff, as he oversees the defensemen and brings their skating, puck skills, and awareness to the next level.

Jim Griffin - Assistant Coach

Jim will also be entering his second season as Assistant Coach. From Mt. Sinai, NY, Jim attended Seton Hall Law from 2021-2023. During his time on the hockey team, Jim played a pivotal role as first-line center and bumper on the top power play unit. He holds the Seton Hall Hockey record for all-time points per game (2.32) and for points in a season (43). Jim oversees the forwards, where he passes on his offensive knowledge and leadership.

Captain Ryan Uhlhorn

Ryan Uhlhorn enters his 5th season, and 1st as team captain, bringing leadership and scoring touch to the Pirates forward group. Before Seton Hall, Ryan played in the New Jersey Bandits organization at the AA level. Ryan has steadily improved each season, culminating in a breakout year with 7 goals in 14 games last year. His commitment to the program and ability to lead by example make him a cornerstone of Seton Hall’s success.

Alternate Captain Joe Salvador

Joe Salvador anchors the Pirates in net for his 4th straight year and serves as one of the team’s alternate captains. In his career at Seton Hall, Joe has posted an impressive .903 save percentage, consistently keeping Seton Hall competitive in tight games. Before Seton Hall, Joe played for Christian Brothers Academy Syracuse and for the Utica Jr. Comets. His calm demeanor, resilience under pressure, and vocal leadership in the locker room make him a vital part of the team’s identity. Joe also serves on Seton Hall Ice Hockey's e-board as President.

Alternate Captain Nick Zummo

Nick Zummo is entering his 3rd year at Seton Hall and 1st as an alternate captain. Before Seton Hall, Nick played in the Long Island Sharks organization at the AA level. Last season, Nick posted 2 goals, including a game-winner against Drexel to push Seton Hall into the playoffs, in 11 games played.
